Canberra Convention Bureau is the peak body responsible for attracting business events to the Canberra region. With the support of a highly collaborative community, the Bureau works to bring business, associations, incentive groups and amateur sporting events to the region by leveraging the status and attributes associated with being the national capital. The Bureau is a not for profit association funded by the ACT government and industry partners.
The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for executing marketing and communications activities for Canberra Convention Bureau. This is a key role in the business and reports directly to the Marketing and Communications Manager.
The role will champion innovative design, create engaging content and work closely with the sales team to ensure top of mind positioning among key stakeholder groups. Attention to detail and a passion for excellence is critical as this role supports the essential functions of the Bureau.
Your career experience and education should include excellence in the following:
- Print and publication skills (Advanced Adobe InDesign skills)
- Social Media trends
- Event Management
- Proficiency in adobe publication tools such as Indesign, Photoshop, Illustrator etc.
- Web site management and search engine optimisation
- Project management
- Video editing skills will be an added advantage
