REDUCE, REUSE & RECYCLE … in that order, please… CIT is environmentally friendly and committed to reducing its carbon footprint all the time … so please join us in consuming less!All packaging products from the canteen and cafés go in the recycling bins, so check out which bins you use for recycling and which bins are for general landfill. CIT has solar hot water installed on various campuses as well as photovoltaic panels (solar converted to electricity) at Bruce and soon to be at Reid Campus. Classrooms also have timers on the lights, which have energy saving bulbs. Toner cartridges and mobile phones can be recycled through our bookshops.
