Looking For: Customer Service Officer

Job description: 

What you can expect to do:

  • Provide internal support for our external sales team
  • Own our customer experience through an easy and reliable approach
  • Processing orders and quotes in COS, both accurately and timely
  • Developing relationships with internal and external stakeholders to address trade related enquiries
  • Interacting with commercial customers via email and over the phone
  • Communicate progress and resolution of issues to our customers

About you:

  • Previous experience in the Trade/Building industry (timber, hardware and construction) would be an advantage but not essential
  • Previous experience in supporting teams or customer service environment
  • An enthusiastic, friendly and outgoing customer service orientation with strong emphasis on been “easy and reliable” to deal with.
  • A willingness to learn, assists others and work in a team-based environment
  • An ability to thrive under pressure whilst maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Strong time management and organisational skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, and conflict resolution skill set
  • Strong Intermediate – Microsoft Office experience
